It is delightful to be hosting various Cultural events at Motueka Library Te Noninga Kumu.

Migration Stories.  A partnership with Multicultural Nelson Tasman has offered us the opportunity to host Migration Stories. People from different cultures who have chosen to live in Tasman are invited to share their stories. Being more accessible to the diversity in our town increases our awareness and encourages a more welcoming environment. 43 people have attended two of these events so far.

Bislama Pilot Language Week. The Bislama Language week is a pilot to acknowledge the language spoken in Vanuatu. A Library Tour and Games Night is to welcome the local Vanuatu community into the library and show them what is on offer. Thursday 16 November, 6.00pm. All welcome.
