Borrowing

It is easy to borrow items from the Tasman District Libraries.

What Can I Borrow?

If you are a library member you can borrow items from Richmond and any of our branch libraries - Motueka, Murchison and Tākaka.

It is important you bring your library card with you when visiting any of our libraries.

Please don't share your library card - you will be responsible for any items borrowed on your card.

Let us know if you change your address or lose your card - this is for your own security.

• The usual loan period is three weeks.
• High demand items may be restricted.
• You can borrow up to 35 items on your card.
• Items can usually be renewed.

Returning Items

You can return items to any of our libraries, irrespective of where they were borrowed from.

If we are closed you can return items into our after-hours bins.
