It’s one big adventure at the library these school holidays.
Tasman District Libraries is launching its summer programme – the Summer Reading Adventure.
To promote it, the children’s library team has been visiting schools in the area with a fun presentation, including a skit, a slideshow and a quiz.
The Richmond Children’s Librarians have presented the Summer Reading Adventure to nearly 2000 children over the last few weeks.
There are three ways to participate in the Summer Reading Adventure.
Children can complete reading adventures to win a book, enter a colouring competition, and attend events at the library.
We have some amazing events this summer – craft sessions, Lego building challenges, an I Spy hunt at local parks and gardens, and lots more.
To join, children can pick up an Adventure Pack from any Tasman District Library from December 18.
