Participate in the Fleur Woods Stitch Bloom Project! Help stitch together a large-scale artwork consisting of stitched blooms that women around New Zealand and the world have created.
Fleur Woods will provide a simple project guide, threads, needles and scissors, etc.
Anyone in the community is welcome to participate as long as they are willing to follow simple project guidelines.
Once completed, the artwork will be on display at the Motueka Library Te Noninga Kumu before travelling on to be displayed elsewhere and ultimately be used to raise funds for United Nations Women as managed by the United Nations Women Council of New Zealand.
This group meets every second Monday, 1.30pm - 3.00pm. May 6 is the next date for meeting.
