At this time of the year our libraries are normally buzzing with class visits and excited students. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has made this year's class visits to the library difficult, so instead of schools coming to our libraries, library staff are taking the library outdoors to Tasman's schools and community events.
Last week our new Children and Young Adult Services Librarian Krystel Woodcock and Community Outreach and Engagement Specialist Ana Vivian held a Pop-Up Library at a local primary school, and also created a scavenger hunt picture trail at the Richmond to Moturoa/Rabbit Island Family Bike Ride 2022. Library staff will be out and about over the next few months, so look out for the Pop-Up Library at your school, or an outdoor event near you.
