Richmond Library Community Display Space
There are regular community displays at Richmond Library.
- The display space is for the use of community and not-for-profit groups.
- Users of the display space are responsible for putting up and removing their own display materials.
- It is free to use the display space.
- The duration of community displays is usually two weeks.
- To book the display area or to find out more information, contact Richmond Library.
- The display space is able to be used by community groups at the discretion of Richmond Library staff.
Queen Street Display Area
The Queen Street Display Area is located to the right of the entrance as you enter the library from Queen Street.
- There are two noticeboards available for use in this space.
- Each noticeboard is 66cm x 105cm.
- Both front and back may be used.
- Only Velcro dots may be used to attach information to the boards.
- There is a plinth which can be used with the boards. On this you can put any books or pamphlets relating to your display.
- There is a roll-away book unit next to the boards on which library staff will stock books related to your display.
Community Noticeboard
The Community Noticeboard is located near the middle of the library, near the elevator.
- This noticeboard is for the advertisement of community events.
- Notices should be size A4 or smaller.
- Please give your notice to a library staff member if you would like it added to the noticeboard. The staff member will pin it to the board when there is space.
- Use of the noticeboards by community groups is at the discretion of library staff.
