Memories of a Hungarian Child

Panni Palasti grew up in Hungary in the time leading up to, and during, World War II. Now in her 80s, Panni lives in Nelson and will be visiting Richmond Library to talk about her memoir Budapest Girl: An Immigrant Confronts The Past.

Panni Palasti will also talk about the poems she has written, and the rewards and challenges of writing a memoir.

Join us from 1.00pm-2.00pm on Tuesday 18 September for Panni's talk.

Afterwards, from 2.00pm-3.00pm, the Richmond Writing Group will be meeting for writing or discusssion.
